Following round, the 'time line' depicts the stirring and interesting
life and times of Crieff from 1550 to 1850 alongside the relevant history
of Scotland during the same period.
In the final part, on the right wall, there are 7 story boards covering
The Drove Roads of Scotland, The Trysts, The Origins of Droving, The Life
of a Drover, Droving Country, Change and Decline, and finally Emigration.
These boards contain well researched and absorbing insight into the history
of the droving era.
On the left wall, there are 5 large maps from 1724 to 1789 showing the
roads built by George Wade and the evolution of communication and the
situation of the clans.
